Scholarship Policy

HEA believes English fluency shouldn't be limited to students who can pay for it. This Policy explains how our scholarship and free-access programs work, including our flagship free program for Madhyamik students.
1. Current Programs
Our primary scholarship offering is a 100% free spoken-English program for Madhyamik-level students, fully funded by HEA with no hidden cost or later upsell. Additional scholarship spots for other courses may be offered periodically and will be clearly described on the relevant course or scholarship page.
2. Eligibility
Eligibility criteria (such as academic level or genuine financial need) are stated clearly wherever a scholarship program is offered. We ask applicants to answer honestly — scholarship spots are limited, and honesty is what lets us direct them to students who need them most.
3. How to Apply
- Fill out the application form on the Scholarship page — your name, the course you're interested in, and a short explanation of your situation.
- Submitting the form both notifies our team directly and opens WhatsApp so you can follow up personally if you'd like.
- Our admin team reviews applications and responds as capacity allows.
4. Review Process
Applications are reviewed by HEA administration on a rolling basis. We don't guarantee a spot for every applicant, particularly where a program has limited capacity, but every genuine application is read and considered.
5. What's Included
Scholarship students receive the same course content, live classes, AI Assistant access, and certificate eligibility as paying students in the equivalent course — a scholarship changes the price, not the quality of what you receive.
6. Continued Eligibility
Scholarship access is intended for genuinely active students. We may check in periodically on attendance and engagement; a scholarship spot left completely inactive for an extended period may be reassigned to allow another student the opportunity, though we'll always try to reach you first.
7. Refunds
Since scholarship programs involve no payment, our Refund & Cancellation Policy does not apply to them.
8. Code of Conduct
Scholarship students are subject to the same Student Code of Conduct as every other student — a free seat is not a lower standard, it's the same classroom.
9. Contact
Questions about a current or future scholarship program can be sent to hidayetenglishacademy@gmail.com or via WhatsApp.
10. How Scholarship Programs Are Funded
Our free and subsidized programs are funded by paid course revenue, not by any hidden cost passed on to scholarship students. This is part of why account sharing and piracy genuinely matter to us — every paying student's enrollment helps make a scholarship seat possible for someone else.
11. Renewal & Multi-Term Programs
Where a scholarship program spans multiple terms or academic years, continued eligibility for the next term is assessed the same way as initial eligibility — based on genuine need and, where applicable, satisfactory engagement in the current term. We'll always communicate renewal timelines clearly in advance rather than leaving students uncertain about their status.
12. Parents & Guardians
For minor applicants, a parent or guardian is welcome to complete the scholarship application on the student's behalf, or to be included in the WhatsApp follow-up conversation. We're happy to answer a parent's questions about the program directly before a student commits their time to it.
13. Feedback From Scholarship Students
We periodically ask scholarship students for honest feedback on their experience — not to justify the program's existence, but because their perspective, often coming from circumstances different from a typical paying student, helps us make the whole platform better for everyone.
14. Expanding the Program
As HEA grows, we intend to grow our scholarship capacity alongside it, rather than treating it as a fixed, one-time commitment. Any new scholarship offering will be announced clearly on the Scholarship page and through our usual communication channels.
15. A Note on Dignity
A scholarship student is a full HEA student in every sense — same classroom, same teacher attention, same certificate. We design the program so that no student ever needs to feel singled out or lesser for having applied.
